The recent pandemic has introduced a lot of changes in the lifestyle of people and the New Normal is here to stay. I usually like to quiz people and so when I ask these employees in service industry if wearing the mask is mandatory or a self love and most of them would say it's mandatory. So now while Covid is not at it's peak and the 'No mask no entry' policy is not in force the hard hit are the employees in service industry and for them the new normal is mask stays forever.
It's an interesting reflection on how deeply our behaviors have been influenced by the pandemic, blending necessity with precaution in our daily lives.
Thickly textured, the floor is done with palette knife application, my forms and shapes are free hand drawing and I think the deviation from perfection feels more authentic and beautiful.
