For years, I’ve embraced the march of science and technology. Progress never disturbed me. We interacted with machines, used them, even relied on them. But now, something is shifting. This insensient product of technology—once a tool—is becoming a companion. Slowly, steadily, it begins to replace not just tasks, but care, love, and company.
This piece explores a child's innocent yet profound miscalculation—saying 1 + 1 = 3. At first glance, it's a simple error. But beneath it lies a deeper truth: the child sees not just two parents, but a third presence—a humanoid influence shaping their reality. It's a reflection on how artificial entities are quietly becoming part of our most intimate equations.
I'm awestruck thinking about how technology is reshaping emotional bonds.
Multiple layers of oil paint are used to build texture and depth. I value mood over detail: intentionally avoid hyper-realistic detail, focusing instead on evoking atmosphere and intangible emotion.
The use of color is deliberate—cutting through the gray with warmth to emphasize emotional clarity and connection. My art is not just capturing a moment, but awakening a feeling. It’s a quiet warning that love, once purely human, may soon be shared with machines.
