In 2024 I was focused on memories for working on the theme 'Foreigners Everywhere'. This year my focus is on the future. I am curious about how life would be influenced by AI and Robots a few years from now. I stay closely connected with the digital revolution and also follow the disruption caused by AI to traditional art. We are living in an exciting time of technological advancement. I wish to depict this in my art.
Quiet luxury has historically been an integral part of life for certain segments of society, embodying understated elegance and refinement. Recently the advent of technological advancements has elevated its meaning and expression to a different level of sophistication.
The painting emphasizes my imagination of future with the question: what truly draws us to one another? How do we nurture a meaningful bond that transcends gadgets and riches? The AI-driven robot takes care of all of its owner's practical needs. The robot gracefully serenades the couple with its violin. It expertly creates an enchanting atmosphere. She serves wine at the perfect moment. This supports her master's wish to create an unforgettable memory of the evening.
A future of ease, yet the woman seeks something beyond. This painting questions if true connection can be replaced by robots and riches. It's about the longing for warmth in a world of cool efficiency.
This artwork stands as a gentle reminder: Even in a world designed to cater to every need, simple human moments anchor us. They connect us to those we love. This is a great topic to talk about, especially for young people. Gen Z kids are growing up with AI and video games all around them. They live in their own digital worlds. So, it makes you wonder: "how important will real human connection be to them and how they would achieve?"
